Oh, oh,! Before I forget I thought I'd tell you guys. I stumbled upon this shoe website! They sell extra wide fitting boots. I figure I better post about them since my last post was about coats, it really does kind of go with the topic, and knowing me and my randomness, I thought I better post it before we switched to something completely different, I swear that was not a monty python reference, or perhaps it was? ;)
Well anywho, I know it's hard for a lot of plus size women to find boots that fit the leg so have a look on the Wide Fitting site, you might find something you like. As for me I'm allergic to the cold (yes literally, not just figuratively, trust me, I didn't know it existed either) so I'm always on the look out for over knees, gotta cover up as much as possible without looking like I just teleported from the north pole.

But I also like these because they kinda look pretty bad ass and I like that they are flat 'cuz I do a lot of walking out here in vienna. The streets get pretty slippery in the winter and I still kind of like my ankles and hip bones and such. :)
Have you guys heard of this place? What are your suggestions for boot shopping this fall/winter?

I love boots and have a similar issue, if they fit the calf, they don't fit the way I wish they would. I'm especially digging the second pair. I'm a flat boot kind of girl too, more practical plus I'm tall so I hate being "too" tall.

Oh YES! I inherited my dad's calves, so no matter how much I work out, my calves just stay the same. It doesn't help that I did dancing and ballet as a kid. I really like the buckled ones!
