Have you ever just known that you where going to have a bad day as soon as you opened your eyes in the morning?
Well this was one of those days for me.
As soon as I opened my eyes I turned my head and hit it against my night stand with that motion knocking my glasses and phone on the floor. Ouch.
But I was excited to get up and start the day. Phil and I haven't gone out together in a while and we made plans to go out and have breakfast follwed by a visit to a museum. I got ready and even curled my hair when I saw that it started raining outside...grrrrr the humidity!!! noo!!! but I thought "oh well!" I grabbed the umbrella and left.
So after meeting phil we both realized that we didn't actually agree on were we where going to have breakfast so like 30 minutes of navigating through the rain we finally found a place and ate.
Now we had to hurry up and get to the museum before they close so running out into the rain we where almost there when I slipped and twisted my ankle. It hurt like oh my god ouch 50 times the F - bomb kind of hurt, I saw all the stars in the universe along with jesus, mary and Spock! ya.
when I slipped I dug my fingers into phil for dear life and was cussing up a storm, but well can you blame me? So I couldn't walk much further I managed to waddle to the nearest cafe house and wait for my bro in law to come pick us up. I'm glad I took these pics before I left.
So now I have a wonderfully swollen ankle and the pain is still lingering. Doctors say it should be ok in two weeks time. What the hell do I do for two weeks? someone get me a hoverboard and a bedazzler! stat! I will bedazzle that puppy and get the show on the road!

I'm sorry to hear it was a bad day :-/ I think it's Murphy's Law that everytime you're looking forward to something extremely, it will suck or just not happen.
I'm glad that you at least managed to have breakfast before your accident (because a day without breakfast is a bad day anyway).

Aww I'm so sorry to hear about your ankle! I hope you have a quick recovery and heal correctly! I sprained my ankle when I was a kid and it never healed correctly because... I was a kid and didn't want to sit still.

Sorry about your ankle! It happened to me once in P.E. it sucked like a mofo, it was toward the end of the year, and I couldnt finish my requirements for the class. But on the brighter side of things, you look super cute!!

What a terrible day but I'm glad you're okay! Totally rhyming there, by the way! :-D Bah, did you twist your ankle? I twisted my ankle last september and it had to heal a good two-three weeks! Nice to stay home from work but I hated being so dependent on other people while having to walk with crutches. Anyhoo, you looked adorable when you twisted your ankle! Gorgeous dress!
