Hey guys!
I got to attend the MQ Vienna Fashion Week 2014 and this is what I wore!
It was really interesting to see how fashion in Vienna has changed and grown since the last time I attended the Fashion Week here (Like three years ago, I think...) The people are more fashion conscious when it comes to local brands and designers, and the locals are actually one of the top designers on the runway, which didn't used to be the case. Vienna seems to be making a spot for itself on the fashion map.
I will get into what I liked most about fashion week in my next post. For now I'm just going to post about what I wore:
First I'd like to say, as I've said in many posts before, that I love Vivienne Westwood's designs and creations, the woman is a rock star, what can I say? She's not only creative in the fields of art and fashion, but she is a pretty sweet role model and awesome woman in general. Of course I can't afford anything by Westwood, which is a total bummer, but I do like buying things that bare a resemblence to her things. Like for instance this skirt I bought from ASOS Curve last winter. You guys can imagine how fast I clicked on the "Shut up and take my money" button after seeing this, extremely similar to Westwoods skirts, pencil skirt. It has a built in lining to flatter the curves a little better and it is quite comfortable all around. I paired it with this white top which I bought on my trip to NYC this summer (post will be up soonish about that as well!) at Fashion to Figure. It was my first time at Fashion to Figure as the store doesn't exist in europe, and I got this gorgeous baby on sale! The pleather collar and the black detail look so good againsz the matte effect pearl color. I matched it all up with some black booties and got a rollin' to the shows feelin' not too shabby, not too shabby at all.
So look out for my next post where I'll talk more about my favorite outfits during Vienna Fashion Week!
And as always, Thanks for reading!
xx

Hat mich auch gefreut dich kennen zu lernen! Love your page :) <3
I enjoyed this outfit on Instagram and I am still enjoying it now. Glad you got to attend, what a fun thing to do!
I'm with you about Vivienne Westwood, she makes some of the most incredible stuff but I doubt I'll ever be able to afford any of it *le sigh*. On another topic, you are seriously such a babe. I looove this outfit, I might have to duplicate this look. Tartan print seems really in this season and even though I rarely care what is trending I do pay attention when it is something I like.
